Foundations in Facilitative Leadership

Individuals and teams strengthen their capacity to facilitate adult learning communities to advance equity through experiencing an “inside-outside” journey. The “inner work” involves exploring how participants’ own identity and socialization impact their beliefs and actions related to anti-racist, culturally sustaining practices. The “outer” work involves applying equity mindsets and skills to facilitate colleagues to implement key collaborative equity practices (e.g. analyzing disaggregated data from multiple perspectives, engaging in dialogue to deepen equity and anti-racist mindsets, and problem-solving and planning collaboratively to increase equity for each and every student).
